Park Couple

There are many activities in Seattle, for people of all ages, to come and join this summer. Let’s start off with workshops that can be done with children and adults. At the end of June, a Family Fun Workshop strives to teach kids about the Asian Art Museum. You will be able to look at some local artwork and join a local artist for an art activity. It is highly recommended for families with young children.

Later that week there is a car show with people coming from all over the country to show off their classic cars. There is live music, with local performers, the most popular food trucks, and awards! This is recommended for people of all ages and is a big event that Seattle hosts every summer. Since Seattle, if one of the best places to find unique art, there is a sculpting workshop on June 26th for the youth to learn the modern way of sculpting art. It is for kids from 8 to 17 years old and is free! This is an opportunity you can’t miss out on.

In Seattle, the weather gets pretty warm. On July 16th, also known as national ice cream day, there is an event called Sundae Runday. It is where people either run or walk in Genesee Park and back along the shores of Lake Washington. At the end of the trail, there is ice cream with many flavors and toppings to choose from. Finally, leaving the best event for last is the Arts in the Gardens tour. Stroll the gardens and woodlands of the Bellevue Botanical Garden and discover a wide variety of artists creating 3D garden art. There is live music and food trucks all throughout the event. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Seattle and is a family-friendly environment. There are so many things to do in Seattle from art museums and sculpting classes to live music and car shows.
